Nestled between Georgetown and Dupont Circle, the Hotel Palomar Washington DC offers guests an artfully unique destination in one of the city’s most vibrant cultural centers.

Reflecting its trendy neighborhood, the Hotel Palomar caters to business and leisure travelers with their “Art in Motion” design philosophy. A grand two-story lobby features a transparent fireplace surrounded by cozy living room style seating and hipster objet d’art. A nightly wine reception in the lobby, hosted by the hotel, gives weary travelers a chance to enjoy the gorgeous space.

Throughout the property, a rich palette of brown, taupe, and gold mix together with varying textures and patterns in a way only Kimpton Hotels can successfully achieve. Thoughtful attention to detail creates a cohesive design that’s unexpected yet cherished.

The hotel’s 335 guestrooms and suites are designed to pamper their guests with comfort, abundant space, and stress-relieving personal services. Plush robes and L’Occitane bath products are meant to instill the sense of a fine resort spa. To that end, massage, facial, and hand and foot treatments are all available as part of the hotel’s in room spa service.

Adjacent to the hotel is the property’s signature restaurant, the 173-seat Urbana. The cuisine lists Northern Italy, Southern France, Greece, and Spain as its Mediterranean influences. At the lounge end of the restaurant, tufted leather chairs and an ebonized bar make up a lively scene for locals and travelers alike.
