Nestled within the rolling hillsides of southern Provence, and less than an hour away from the Nice Cote d’Azur International Airport, Terre Blanche Hôtel Spa Golf Resort is an unparalleled getaway for relaxation, world-class dining, golf, spa and wellness treatments, and more - all of which can be enjoyed in an environment that keeps the stunning natural landscape of Provence very close. Long known by celebrities, fashion designers, athletes, and corporate executives as a resort that pampers their guests with luxury and first class service, this expansive resort is akin to an exclusive small village. The buildings housing the guest suites and villas are terraced into the hillside and designed to offer privacy and exceptional views. The views of the mountains to the north and of the villages of Callian, Tourrettes, and Fayence (all a must visit) are fabulous.

The resort’s 114 suites and villas are well spread out yet you never feel far from the luxury and service that makes Terre Blanche so special. I never wanted to leave our spacious, private terrace, but to stay at “home” was to miss out on all the resort had to offer.

Golf is a major attraction at Terre Blanche. The two 18-hole championship, Dave Thomas designed courses offer players challenges in a stunningly beautiful setting. For those looking to improve their techniques, Terre Blanche is also home to two exceptional facilities. The Albatros Golf Performance Center and the David Leadbetter Academy provides state-of-the-art science, instruction, and training to amateur and professional golfers alike. Spa lovers will be overwhelmed with the dramatic beauty of the centerpiece indoor pool in the Spa de Terre Blanche. Offering an array of fitness classes, massage therapies, and treatments, the Spa de Terra Blanche will captivate and rejuvenate all those that enter this beautiful facility.

To visit the south of France is to think about eating, and the pastime is elevated to an art form at Terre Blanche. Start your evening at The Gaudina with a signature cocktail, and enjoy piano jazz as the sun begins to set. Then move on to the intoxicating creations of Executive Chef Philippe Jourdin at Le Faventia. Award-winning Chef Jourdin is a master of French Riviera cuisine, and previously ran Terre Blanche's kitchens from 2003-2010. The high style Provencal décor of the room is stunning and each course is a masterpiece. The most exquisite Mediterranean produce complements the innovative French gastronomic cuisine.

The Gaudina terrace is also a delightful spot to enjoy your morning breakfast, while lunch at the open air Tousco Grill next to the edgeless pool is a true lesson on how to throw the perfect picnic. Within this lovely setting, the selection of delicious offerings reinforced our perception that the south of France produces some of the most delicious food on the planet. Also not to be missed for lunch, are the expansive views of the golf course and the beautiful countryside at The Caroubiers. Located in the Club House, The Caroubiers offers refined dining in an elegant setting.

You are never far from the natural beauty at Terre Blanche, nor are you far from the pampering of your soul. Getting to Terre Blanche Hôtel Spa Golf Resort is easy with Delta Air Lines or Air France. From Nice we recommend renting a car so you can enjoy the drive and explore the area. Or you could always just copter in.
